We have an exciting opportunity for a Heart Walk Fundraising Director for the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. Responsible for cultivating business and community partnerships and securing corporate sponsorships and individual donations by selling and promoting one of our key events, the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk.

Responsibilities Include:
. Setting and meeting aggressive fundraising goals
. Securing corporate sponsorships and individual donations
. Recruiting, organizing and coaching corporate walk teams
. Recruiting and coaching executive level committee members
. Creating partnerships with corporate and community leaders
. Recruiting and coaching event volunteers
. Daily travel throughout the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Miami business markets.

Required Experience

Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 2-3 years prior outside business-to-business sales and/or fundraising experience. Must be an effective communicator and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Preference to be given to those with prior professional fundraising experience and/or knowledge of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Miami business markets.
