We have an exciting opportunity for a Gala Fundraising Director for our Miami/Dade market. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with AHA corporate partners and selling sponsorships for one of our key events, the annual Heart Ball.

Responsibilities Include:
. Setting and meeting aggressive fundraising goals
. Cultivating corporate partnerships and securing sponsorships and individual donations
. Cultivating, and coaching executive level committee members and volunteers
. Interacting with corporate leaders
. Daily travel throughout the assigned territory.

BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of prior outside sales or professional fundraising experience. Must have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals and expectations. Must have demonstrated success with negotiation and motivation skills. Position requires proficiency with Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook. Preference will be given to local candidates first.
