We have an excellent opportunity for an Executive/Development Director in our Tacoma office.

In this challenging position your day to day responsibilities will provide you with opportunities to develop new customer relationships and cultivate new ones, to plan and executive a large fund raising event, and to raise funds for a great cause.

The position has an overall fundraising goal of $500,000 and directly supervises one professional fundraiser and an administrative coordinator.

Required Experience

Experience:

Successful candidates will have a college degree, or equivalent experience, a proven track record of recruiting and partnering with top-level volunteers and corporate leaders, 5 years of experience with progressively responsible positions, including at least 3 years in fundraising, outside sales or in a non-profit organization in a similar capacity. Candidate should also have a minimum of 1 year of staff supervision experience.

Daily travel of up to 75% around the Tacoma area is required.
